7125 Great Eastern Hwy Mundaring

In the early 1950s the Digby Sisters whom operated a tearooms in a house on the present day liquor store decided to open a self service shop next door (the same building Russo's is located in today).

This was the first stage of the centre at this site.

After not much success it was converted to as a betting shop. This is was a private shop but similar to today's TAB.

In the early 60s there was an addition done to the betting shop and by 1970 there was a strip of 4 shops which housed a real estate, pharmacy, fish and chips and boutique shops.

In 1977 the real estate agent Marshall and Yeates who operated at the site, decided to develop the site and add on to the two original betting shops and add on another three shops at the back aswell as a court yard.

It was titled 'Mundaring's Newest Shopping Centre' when it was officially re-opened on Saturday October 13 1979, with seven shops including,

- Marshall and Yeates

- Mundaring Target Chemist

- Patio Court Takeaways

- Penny's Boutique

- Mundaring Jewellers

- Mundaring Causal and Sporting Goods

- Yvonne's Uni- Sex Hairstylists.

Over the years the shops have changed and the centre has been home to World Famous Pizzeria, Little Ceasures from 1996 to 2018, Civic Video and Mundaring Pets. More recently Elders Real Estate, Auto Pro and Go Instrumental.

On Christmas Eve 2022, 7125 GEH made news after a fiery crash which saw the destruction of the Repco Auto Store. The heroic actions of Mundaring and Mt Helena Volunteer Fire Brigade and Midland Fire and Rescue managed to save the other shops in the complex.

Currently, 7125 GEH is home to Noodler's Noodle Bar Mundaring, Mundaring barber shop, Poolwerx, Russo's Organic Based Pizzeria and Repco.
