We make sure that the Mundaring Regions history is acquired, preserved and showcased, the areas heritage is saved and conserved and network with many local community organizations, federal/state/local government and business' to promote and safeguard Mundaring Hills' History and Heritage.

100 Years of Mundaring War Memorial

On Saturday, May 6, the Mundaring War Memorial turned 100!

We had an event planned with the Mundaring RSL, however was cancelled due to the unpredicted weather.

Lost Mundaring & Surroundings Local History Museum's Award Winning Curator, Owen Briffa's new book, Over a Century of Education - The Built and Social History of Mount Helena's Schools was launched on the main stage at the Whim Festival by the Minister for Education, Hon. Dr. Tony Buti MLA. Thank you to everyone who attended including Jessica Shaw MLA, Matthew Hughes MLA & Community Bank Mundaring.

NEW Mount Helena Heritage Walk

Lost Mundaring and Surroundings Local History Museum has just launched a new heritage walk for the historic village of Mount Helena.

The walk takes you on a tour of the past and still standing historical buildings of Mount Helena starting and finishing at Pioneer Park.
